it's been a while since i blogged.
just got back from chimine's b-day thing. omg she can cook! i had the longest day...so let's start with this morning.
taught from 11:00-12:00 p.m. not too stressful...well, maybe a bit. students going in for exams are getting *me* edgy.
got home by 12:30 p.m. - had lunch, packed up my stuff, practiced piano a bit.
worked with a violin student who's going in for her exam on the 16th and i'm accompanying...went for an hour (2:00 - 3:00 p.m.)
mom dropped me off @ my e3 team competitor's house by 3:30 p.m. where i found an interesting scene indeed. a bunch of them were gathered around two laptops doing the powerpoint presentation, pelting each other with pillows and umm...generally behaving like a bunch of 3-year-olds -_-* but at least it was a productive work session. by the time i left @ 6:00 p.m., everyone at least had an idea of what they need to do/are responsible for. i am SO glad that the ontario place presentation scheduled for tomorrow got cancelled because there was NO WAY we could have gotten anything done in time.
not as if it makes my life easier, but i've got a paper due on the 9th and though i've done a lot of research for it, there isn't much of it actually written up.
after the meeting, i got to chimine's house around...7:00-ish? found everyone in the basement setting up for a game of mahjong. mwahahahaha *loves to gamble* me + leena make an awesome team, eh?? hehehehehehe we pick which cards to dispose of based on how "pretty" we find 'em =P
chimine made the WHOLE DINNER by herself!! that's phenomenal. it was really good too...i'm still super full from it. after drinking that fruitopia "blueberry and watermelon wisdom", i hope i'm wiser =) wise enough to not spill anything on chimine's carpet or burn the house down in an attempt to cook.
watched "dark water" (original jap + eng subtitles). sakura + leena left before it started...it really wasn't that scary, sakura *sigh* actually it was pretty good up until the near end where things kind of took a '60s B-movie turn. they should NEVER resort to actually showing ghosts. they just look ridiculous and give the whole movie the feeling of a muppet show gone gruesomely wrong. the ending made no sense whatsoever...and i think we can all attest to that. the BEST part of watching it was watching anna hehehe. *covers eyes and squirms* hehe bianca has this jelly toy that we got darryl to dangle over anna whenever there was a scary sequence. each time, she screamed =P
then there were these awesome chocolate chip cookies mmmm...yummm. and chimine's cakes!!! soooo good ^___^ the chocolate was very chocolatey indeed, and the lemon was...very lemon =) her oreo crust is awesome!! omg she can be a pastry chef!! i'll get her to cater every event i ever plan in the future ^____^ it was nice to see isabella again, hang out with everyone, and talk to diana =) we all need to go out sometime before school starts again.
*sigh* tomorrow looks like another full day of running around...when will i ever find the time to work on my paper??
