okay...second blog of the day ^___^.
i didn't manage to finish my physics problem set yesterday, so i spent quite a few hours at it today sitting @ the underground lounge/study area on the 2nd floor at maclennan. there was this hugely puzzling problem that i just couldn't get, and i turned on my phone to call rosa and see if she was coming to the esu event.
just as i turned it on, suzanne called with a "problem" on her hands. lol...she didn't know if it was possible to be both a platonist and a christian @_@ of all the calls i've ever received, this one beats them all. a philosophical crisis...omg...i think she's stumbled upon the question that will guide the rest of her career lol. i foresee stacks of theses on this.
after that i called rosa and then got inspired to put down some sort of answer for that question, though i'm 80% sure it's incorrect. whatever...just handed it in and went off to e.j. pratt to read and check my e-mail.
went to burwash and walked ALL the way around to find it, even though it was right across from e.j. pratt and i didn't know XD good exercise...just a big waste of time. i entered the dining hall and kept on going up stairs and down stairs, meeting dead ends each time. i finally gave up trying to find the senior common room on my own and went to ask the guy who admits ppl into the dining hall. turned out that i was on the wrong side of the building *sigh*. when i went outside, it turned out that there were huge signs pointing the way there lol...wow i'm blind.
when i got there, half the food was gone *sigh* and it was good catering too! they ran out of white wine pretty soon so i was stuck with red. but it was nice to meet a lot of fellow english students. it's funny, but i swear to god i know two of these girls, and i can't figure out where i know them from. i look familiar to them too...i will have to figure this all out sometime. we talked to prof. baird for a bit ^___^ then rosa came in around 6:00...too bad all the food and wine was gone by them =(
but we had an awesome time just meeting ppl and talking =) and then antonella and lisa came by and it's amazing how many ppl from the abbey are in english. we stood around and talked for another hour until almost everyone was gone hehe.
too much fun...we need to do this again sometime! TOTALLY need to go hang out together!
oh, and btw if anybody wants to go to massive change @ the ago - e-mail me!! i really want to go!! and wednesday nites are free @ the ago - despite the fact that i was just there a month ago - i still want to go!
