long time no blog. summer school's going okay. my prof extended the due date for our paper by a week, so i'm feeling much better ^___^.
here's a quick run down of what's been going on:
fah281 (fine arts history: architecture) BOOOORING. the prof uses two projectors to show us slides of buildings, ruins, etc. and repeats almost the same information for EVERY SLIDE. argh...he lectures as if we know the material already. he just zooms through the names, and whenever he spells it out aloud it's too fast. sometimes, he writes the names on the board, but since it's pitch-dark in there, we can't see it either. lol...this class is sad in a funny way. it's going to be over in about two weeks anyways, thank god.
eng220 (shakespeare) the most fun i've ever had. prof is from manchester, so he's got the coolest northern brit accent. even though there's a little under 100 students, he runs the class in a very interactive way. we just sit and discuss stuff ^___^ and it's SOOO FUNNY!!!! we watch a lot of videos to see how directors have been interpreting shakespeare, and every class a group performs a scene from the play we're studying. my group's not going until july, so right now, it's more sitting back and watching what other ppl have done. it's so great...seriously. everyone should come in sometime, just to get laughs =)
it's such a nice day today!!! i hope the rest of the week is going to be this nice! i went to the library today and borrowed a stack of french books hehe...i miss reading french!! as if i don't have enough to read lol..english and art history AND french =P i know i'm insane.
